Description: This is a Rockford Watch Co. Railroad Grade 900 Antique Pocket Watch circa 1899. The dial is white, double sunk with thin black hand and numbers, and small red numbers on the outer edge. There is a small chip in the dial between 5 and 6 o-clock that is visible after removal of the bezel. The case is an open faced, gold filled case with screw front and back with a great polished finished and some brassing on the pendant crown and rim. The watch sets, winds, runs well and displays nicely. Very hard to find, only 1000 ever made.
