Description: This is an American Waltham Watch Co. VANGUARD Railroad Grade 16 size 23 jewel Antique Pocket Watch circa 1926. The Montgomery dial is white, double sunk, with thick blue hands, black numbers and minute numbers on the outer edge that are highlighted in red at the 5 minute marks. A hair line fracture runs along the right side of the dial just inside the center sunk area. The case is a Model RF#4D, open faced, 10K gold filled case that is in very nice shape, with little signs of use, and no brassing. This watch sets, winds, runs beautifully, seems to keep good time and displays remarkably well.
