Description: This is a circa 1913 South Bend Watch Co., The Studebaker grade 229 pocket watch. It has a double sunk while dial, blue hands, black numbers 1-12, red & black numbers 1-60 and is marked South Bend. The dial has a chip at the lever and a hairline at 11. The case is brassed at the bow, rim and back. This watch winds, sets and runs though the stem is loose and turns glitchy. It appears mechanically sound and the movement looks nice. There are no major dings, dents or scratches and the watch displays nicely.
