Description: This is a circa 1890 Elgin National Watch Co. G.M. Wheeler pocket watch in excellent condition. This watch is very nice inside and out. To start, it has a heavy hunters case and the total weight of the watch is 142 grams. The case is ornately engraved and shows little signs of use. It has a single sunk, fancy, multi-colored dial. The dial is white with a light blue center and gold and silver designs. It has ornate gold hands, black numbers and is marked ELGIN. This watch wound and set like it was new and started right up all on its own and seems to run as well as it looks. This is in fantastic condition especially when you consider that it is over 120 years old.
