Description: This is an American Waltham Watch Co. Vanguard Railroad Grade Wind Indicator Pocket Watch circa 1915. The dial is white, double sunk, with thin blue hands, black numbers and small red numbers at 5 minute marks around the outer edge. Very small flaws exist at the 12 hour mark and are hard to see with the naked eye. The case is a locomotive model RF#7G, open faced with screw front and back. It is a 14K gold filled case that has just begun brassing. This watch wound and set smoothly, started right up and seems to run well. The bow is firm, the crystal is nice and it displays very well.
