Description: This is an Elgin National Watch Co. B.W. Raymond Railroad Grade 478 Wind Indicator Pocket Watch circa 1924. The dial is white, sunk for both the wind indicator and the second hand, with blue hands and black numbers. There is a small chip in the dial below the wind indicator that connects a fracture to the 2 o-clock position. The case is an Elgin Giant Watch Case Co. 14k gold filled case with polished back and designed rim and bezel. The case is in remarkable condition. This watch sets, winds and runs perfectly. The bow is firm, it seems to keep good time and it displays well.
